Hi....
I am a PR card holder and my wife is a Canadian Citizen (and we don't have any kids). After I landed in 2010, I stayed there for 9 months... Now I am living outside Canada with my wife due to personal reason.. It has been around 2.5 years now since I have been staying with my wife outside Canada and I think I might have to stay outside Canada longer. For a sum-up... I stayed with my wife Outside Canada for a total of 2.5 years and inside Canada for a total of 9 months. So, if I counted my Total days (including all the day of travelling back and forth to and from Canada WITH my wife)... then it comes to more than 3 years.
My question is that I have read on Appendix A on the Canadian Immigration official page that if I have been accompanied by a Canadian spouse than my days are counted.
So if it is true, then after 3 years, will I be able to apply for Canadian citizenship? I need more information about it because it is not clear to me.
Below I have copied what it said on the website:

You may also count days outside of Canada as days for which you satisfy the residency obligation in the following circumstances:
OPTION 1. Accompanying a Canadian citizen outside Canada
You may count each day that you accompanied a Canadian citizen outside Canada provided that the person you accompanied is your spouse, common-law partner or parent (if you are a child under 22 years of age).
Evidence required
You must provide supporting documents to prove that:
The person you are accompanying is a Canadian citizen; and
You are the spouse, common-law partner or child of that person.
