Hi and Good day,
Me and my girlfriend currently applied for a student permit and was refused after 18 days of application. On our refusal note it stated that we didn't meet the requirements of IRPR and IRPA because he is not satisfied that we will be leaving Canada at the end of our school year. Another reason was our purpose of visit is not consistent with our stay at Canada. The question is do I need GCMS notes before working on again on our Statement of Purpose letter? or should I just rework on it and explain that I am a "bona fide" student and will be leaving Canada as soon as we finish our studies?
Thank you and I hope to hear from you anytime.

It's really your choice. The GCMS notes generally provide additional details on what the officer's specific concerns were.

The refusal reasons you were given indicate that several different things could be an issue, including your choice of programs in Canada.

If you are simply planning on rewording your SOP to say you are a "bona fide" student, that may not be enough and may not solve the actual reason(s) why you were refused.
