Hi all,
For my primary occupation, I am choosing NOC 2161 Mathematicians, Statisticians and Actuaries. I am a Data Scientist by profession.
Under the employment requirements for the NOC code 2161, one of the points states that "Mathematicians and statisticians usually require a graduate degree in mathematics or statistics." But, I have a graduate degree in Computer Science (with a concentration in Machine Learning). Machine Learning uses statistical methods. Can I still use this NOC? Do I have to give a reason in a Letter of Explanation?
Any help will be appreciated .
