Any tips on preparing for test

i started reading that Discover Canada since i submitted application. I know it sounds silly but i just used the chance to get to learn about Canada!

I haven't seriously started preparing for test until AOR.

But going over all the flashcards and taking quiz on https://citizenshipcounts.ca/ definitely helped a lot! Not the mock test tho.
For mock test i purchased an app subscription for a week, like around $7?! A week later i took exam and nailed it.

In the real test, it's less facts, more like storytelling. It's easier to rule out wrong answers because they sounds funny and silly(don't laugh out loud during test ). You can spot most correct answers by a little bit thinking and guessing!

When I logged into my Citizenship status Tracker Portal I see the following message:

Citizenship test
You've been scheduled to take citizenship test online between August 7, 2026 and September 5, 2026. Information and instructions will be sent to you.

I also see an orange banner that says the following:

Take the citizenship test​

Citizenship test Waiting on you

You have been scheduled to take the citizenship test online. Read the invitation you will receive carefully.

• You need to take your online citizenship test between August 7, 2026 and September 5, 2026.
• Contact the office that sent the invitation if you
  • can’t or don’t want to do the test online
  • need to reschedule
  • have any questions

I haven't received any email. I do not know when my citizenship test is and I also see the status update date as Aug 6th under Application History (See above) but today is only Aug 4th. So I am confused if my test date is Aug 6th. Any information on why I see the status like this? Is this normal?

you should get the email anytime soon! It's already telling you from Aug 7 to sep 5. good luck!

Finally created my Tracker account!

**My email verification code was sent to the email i used for my PR application. Tracker creation step 3 displayed my citizenship application email(email A), but the real code actually went to my PR email(email B)! IRCC is a joke!**

Question - Was your test invite sent to your old email id or your new ID (that you mentioned in citizenship application). Asking as my code was sent to my pr representative and am concerned if all the future updates would be sent to them or I should be raising a webform?

my test invite was sent to my new email that i provided in this application. However my tracker registration verification code was sent to my old PR application email‍
