Mine are still showing in progress in the tracker ... how are folks knowing when these are complete? Just the tracker, or is there an email sent out or something?
Unfortunately, no email gets sent for LPP completion, folks are checking their tracker frequently and keeping a tab.
I just did mine today at 1:30pm. I actually had an important work meeting that ran long so I logged on late. But they didn’t let us in the Zoom meeting until approx. 1:45pm so it worked out well for me. The actual ceremony took just a little over an hour. Everything wrapped up around 2:50pm. Here. my wife was asked for fingerprints back in june, submitted them next day. Her L&P turned green mid July with no updates since then. Her background and prohibitions are still pending.
In my case, I had my background turn green in June, and mid July i got L&P green. I am still only waiting for prohibitions but it has been 3 dry months with no single update. I am not sure I am being held by my wife's application (we are a group submission), but in either case, the wait is frustrating - hopefully soon for everyone waiting!Thank you for the reply. Yes, I understand totally what you mean. Since you and your wife have files together then this could be a possible scenario for your delay as well. It is surprising that there are others that have their BG done and later in 2 or 3 weeks get an update on all 3 LPP's! It is frustrating to wait that is for sure. I hope you and your wife all the best.
How do you know that it's half down or that criminality is passed?
I called 888-242-2100. Enter UCI, press 1 to confirm and then 3-4-0. This way you get connected to an agent. I asked the agent about BG and LPP's they said BG is two parts. First is criminality and second is security. This is how I knew my criminality part was passed as he informed me this part was finalized. He said it is currently in the security stage. Usually prohibitions do not start unless BG clears totally. Hope this helps.
