I echo this! Just took my oath and definitely should have practiced the French oath and the bilingual anthem. By the way, how soon did you receive your e-certificate? I am traveling soon so will need to apply for my passport ASAP.

You should receive e-certificate within 5-6 days just keep checking the portal and for the passport they might send you an email which is new program for the new Canadians where you don't need the certificate or guarantor. But the if you are not getting that email then you have to wait for the certificate and be careful with sending documents as Canada post is on strike so call the office first try to another parcel company which can be fast and reliable.

Mine are still showing in progress in the tracker ... how are folks knowing when these are complete? Just the tracker, or is there an email sent out or something?

Unfortunately, no email gets sent for LPP completion, folks are checking their tracker frequently and keeping a tab.

Got an email this morning for a virtual citizenship ceremony scheduled for Oct 16th. It says the ceremony can be 1 hour and 30 minutes long approximately. Does anyone know long do these generally last? I have an important work meeting that day so I need to advise my manager about how long I'll be stepping away for.

I just did mine today at 1:30pm. I actually had an important work meeting that ran long so I logged on late. But they didn’t let us in the Zoom meeting until approx. 1:45pm so it worked out well for me. The actual ceremony took just a little over an hour. Everything wrapped up around 2:50pm. Hope this helps!
