How many have passed medicals and biometrics and waiting for the next step? How many applications are being processed at the New Delhi Visa Office?

AOR: 30 June 2022
Biometrics : Received - done in Jan 2022
SA Letter: 04 July 2022
Medical Exam Request : 07 July 2022
Medical Done : 14 July 2022
Medical Passed : Completed 28 July 2022

CSQ Application Sent : 11 July 2022
CSQ Approval Letter Received: 28 July 2022)

Pre-arrival Letter : Not Received Yet
Eligibility : **Not Started**
Background Check : **Not Started**

Lots of Ghost Updates on PR Tracker
Last Ghost update: 6th Sept2022


I am eagerly waiting to hear news about someone with NDVO getting PPR around April application.
All I am getting to know that Delhi office has a lot of backlog.. they are sending PPR to Sept 21 applications... which is pretty demoralizing.

I have no idea. Letter didn’t indicate which one. But most like it’s NDVO since the payment letter the hubby got was from India.

Similar story. Eligibility is "In Progress". Background check shows as "Processing". Final Decision is also "In Progress". No word since July 19th.

Same boat. Eligibility is "In Progress". Background check shows as "Processing". Final Decision is also "In Progress".No word since July 20th. Processing centre NDVO

I am curious. How do you know that they are sending PPR to Sept 21 applications? From what I've seen in the tracker it is just so random.

Anyone from April have COPR number updated in tracker but waiting for PPR? If someone knows how many days it take to get PPR.

I submitted outland paper on April 3.

Ever since then, no email, no mail letters. Nothing for now.

Does anyone has the similar case still waiting for the 1st contact yet?

raise a web form. Ideally, within 5 to 8 months the entire process is complete and as of 2022, the spousal timeline is back to one year.

It will be mentioned like this in the letter
The application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to the visa office in New Delhi for further processing. If it is not mentioned then you can call IRCC and find out this information

If New Delhi is not mentioned in above sentence in SA letter , Does it mean its in Ottawa ? I have heard so is that true?

It can be... I have seen files who have received Ottawa as their processing office get their paperwork completed in 6 months
