how can anyone know how long it would take except the officer working on your file?

lol yes off course, my point of ask was if anyone had a similar structure where bg was completed after test. I have seen the common theme of having BG completed before the test

I sent an inquiry email on Thursday morning asking for the status of my application and got an email from a case processing officer below the same afternoon:

"You are in the queue for a review of your application. Once the review has been completed, your application will be scheduled for ceremony.

You will be able to see the status next week in the IRCC website under your account.

Any further questions, please contact the client services line or check the IRCC website."

Do you think I will hear sth postitve next week?

I dont think so. I never asked for any changes in my application. I gave my citizenship test in november and waiting for an update since then.
Only one ghost update was observed on Mrch 02nd.

I searched my oath ceremony date (April 27, 2023) but it doesn't show on the link below, will that mean my ceremony most likely will be online method?
Or should I be worried that my ceremony is not confirmed?

Also according to https://secure.cic.gc.ca/CeremonySearch/search-recherche-eng.aspx, it seems like the April 5th ceremony in Mississauga is in-person. So at least that would have the advantage of being able to receive the certificate on the spot.

Online. That list is for in-person ceremony and also 27 April is still far so check that link regularly it might turn out in-person ceremony by next 2 weeks

If your tracker still shows April 12,2023 as the date, then you can expect it anytime 1-2 weeks prior to it. Its still about 3 weeks away so hopefully in the next week or so.
Else, give IRCC a call they will confirm the date and details.
