Sorry, just saw this. Yes, this is the range on the application form. The physical presence calculator has the application date as 2021-03-31 with the eligibility period listed (right above the main box and underlined) as "Your eligibility period is 2016-03-31 to 2021-03-30, you will need this for your application form." It does look like the autocalculation in the application doesn't quite agree with what is in the physical presence calculator. Hopefully this won't cause any problems!

Hi Guys, a serious question. I misunderstood kids need to follow 1095 days before applying for citizenship, so I submitted only my application on Apr 12. One of my friends reminded me that I can take two kids (10 years old and 6 years old) no matter how long they have physically presented in Canada.
What can I do now? Re-apply (start a new application , myself + 2 kids) , OR,
I need to withdraw my application and later, apply again...if in this case, how long will I wait for confirmation of withdrawal? Any impact on new application?
Another question is I left Canada on Apr 14, can I apply online OUT OF Canada?

Why would you like to withdraw your application ?
you can apply for kids as a separate app. That is perfectly fine.
PS: Leaving Canada after applying for citizenship is Sureshot way of getting your application scrutinized more deeply/slowly from what I read on this forum. Look at waiting for your app to be processed before leaving.

So you meant I don't need to start a complete new application including myself and two kids? I can just easily start another separate application only for my 2 kids online, right?
In your case you only have two options to apply for your kids citizenship now :
- under subsection 5( 2), your kids don't have to meet the physical presence requirement and as you already applied alone then you will need to wait to become Canadian then you can send their applications see below for more information

- must have at least one parent (includes legally adoptive parent) who is a Canadian citizen or who will become a citizen at the same time as you (applying together as a family);

So at this time point, can I add up my kids into application? total new application (myself+2 kids) ? Just submit another new application? CIC will receive two applications , first one is ONLY myself, second one is myself+2 kids. CIC can align them or combine them into one application ?
