If you are going to request a new date then be prepared for a possible delay to your entire application. I am not sure the "holidays" or a "mid-life" crisis would constitute a significant reason for a date change. The test is not that hard, there are plenty of online resources to help you practice the tests and the actual test seemed easier when you actually sit it. If becoming a Canadian Citizen is important, work through it, there will never be a good time for the test to be honest.

Shyness you are lucky your test invite has come. Definitely you will do well..

In our case on both applications there has been no movement since August 21. It has been so long... Anyone else in the same boat please share...

I see couple of people got Oath Invites for Winnipeg on Jan 17, but when I check the "Find a Ceremony" list, it doesn't have Jan 17 as a date. Is it possible that this list is not accurate?
