FINALLY GCkey now says "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.", but not sure when this changed. Unable to see any documents in the GCkey account......but they appear to have received them. ECAS is still at "application received".

When should I get a request for medical? Can't decide whether to start worrying, haha.

Hi , I am in the same boat. They received the Schedule A around June 6 and the status changed to "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded" the following week. No updates or medical request for us too. See my timelines below for more info. Good luck

Medical from delhi, they should have sent it via their system automatically within 5 days, we did not have to send anything on our own they sent the results direct to cic. Was your not equipped to do so ? I think they send direct but i could be mistaken talk to the hospital again first.

Hospital will send the information to CIC as they told this. And also they provided the e@medical information sheet so I thought we have to submit it. Have you also done medical for PA from Delhi?

Hi, we can't really assume whether it's bad or good until you here back from them. Furthermore if you click on the help icon it shows

"In some cases, we need to verify criminal, security and/or other background information to make sure you are admissible to Canada. If we need more information from you, we will send you a message."

It says 'In some cases', so probably in your case it isn't needed or it's just a glitch. I'm not certain but trying to take it as a positive. Try not to worry too much. Be positive. All the best!

Hey sorry for the late response haven't been on this form for a few days. I called CIC and confirmed if our documents were received and our GCKEY also says our additional documents have been received.

EMNG5, My spouse's background check is also showing "Not Applicable". Please do not worry and it is normal. During my PR, background check changed from "Not Started" > "In Progress" > "Not Applicable" > "In Progress" > finally "Done".

· Proof of payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga or by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid. Note: dependent children are not required to pay the Right of Permanent Resident Fee.

· Submission of police clearance certificates for you and all dependent family members who are 18 years or older, for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted. Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.


PLEASE RETURN A COPY OF THIS LETTER WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS.

This is great news if your background check was showing in process before this, it means your done and you will see ECAS update to decision made soon!
