Hey guys, since I didnt receive any request to upload Schedule A after waiting for more than 2 weeks, I decided to mail Schedule A and PCC together to CIC. Mailed out yesterday and they received it today. In addition I also sent both documents through the IRCC webform so hopefully now they attach it to our application and it gets transferred to the appropriate VO. For those who have gone through the same process, how long does it generally take them to attach it to the application?
I have heard in similar forum that it takes around 2 weeks after which they either send you and acknowledgement of receipt or change your status on cic from application recieved to application in process. Ill be mailing the schedule a tomorrow as well sonce my online upload doesnt show and submission through webform was done last week but no response yet.

Hello Friend
yes i am the sponsor but i have not filled any representative form. but basically me n my wife both are getting emails regardng the linked account. we received one more email about new message in the account but the new message is the medical request not the requested schedul A form i am totally confused as to what can be done. we received email of scehdule A but no message in account and also we did not receive email of medical request but we can see the message in the linked account

please help guys
Ok, here is the thing.

Step 1: Get your wife's medicals done.
Step 2: You have mentioned that you are the sponsor. Your spouse has to wait for a notification in his/her Cic a/c for Schedule A. You need to give 5 business days after you receive your sponsor approval. In my sponsor approval letter, it was mentioned that my spouse will receive an email and notification in MYCIC account for schedule a + pcc + any other missing doc.

When your spouse gets the email, please login to see an actual notification in MyCIC a/c.
  • Under "View my submitted applications or profiles", Details will state "Your Action Required" and Messages will state "Unread"
  • When you click on "Check Status and Messages", there will be a request letter.
  • Also, to upload the files, you need to click on "View submitted application", and upload will be available for each document request.
Also, you need to submit the docs within 30 days from the day you receive the request letter in your MYCIC
If your spouse has received the email but the upload has not been enabled:

Step 1: Call CIC and report the technical issue. They will direct you to do Step 2. Please do step 2 only after calling and confirming with cic as they can resolve the upload issue.
Step 2 to send Schedule A + PCC to CIC:
Upload physically signed copy of Schedule A + PCC via IRCC Webform (one of my friends uploaded electronically signed, CIC asked them to upload a physically signed one)
Step 3: Send a physical copy to CPC-Mississauga (this is done as IRCC Webform has a huge backlog)

For sending the physical copy via courier:
1) Cover letter explaining the whole scenario
2) On the envelope - state the following:
Applicant Name
Application #
Family Class - Spouse Outside Canada
3) Mailing Address:
Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8
Hi akhurana487,

Those are nice suggestions and steps to follow. Also if you'll send through mail and not courier the address is:

CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

Should my wife get her medical done after getting the AOR 1 using the application number?
Or we should wait till we get our medical request after the sponsorship approval?

Please advice!
You should wait for the medical request since the email will lay out clear and specific instructions.

I've been away for a while. I'm on page 87 catching up with everyone. Our situation is that we never received the request to upload the Schedule A and PCC. We knew that there were technical difficulties so we mailed via Canada Post 1-business day with signature confirmation priority mail a physical copy of the Schedule A and the PCC. Well, the mail hasn't been delivered yet. Canada Post is opening a high priority investigation to see what happened. Meanwhile, if the mail got lost, we'll have to redo the fingerprints... Sigh. We now have sent Schedule A via webform technical report before our 30 day deadline. Hopefully it gets sorted properly.

Hopefully everything goes well. Canada Post has been acting up lately. My XpressPost scheduled for last Friday delivery was never delivered. I did another Priority post yesterday and it got delivered today luckily.

It happened with my application, the application status never changed to "Delivered". Better to send through a courier if you need a confirmation. Canada Post's investigation yields nothing.

Ya. Lesson learned. Hopefully, we'll just be able to upload the PCC once our account is fixed.

Hey guys,

We received an email from CIC requesting missing documents (such as proof of living together, and PA photo) within 30 days in order for the application to be processed or application will be returned.
I am a (May 1st) applicant, will my application be put in que for June or will they process the additional missing information for AOR.

Except for the refund... :D. Very true though, better mail new copies. They are still investigating on my package. As if we need extra waiting time from a third party. Haha.

I read in one of the forum threads about someone who was in the same situation. They provided the missing documents and they received their AORs a few days after. Going by that it looks like CIC holds your spot in the queue as long as you provide them the missing data before the 30 days expire. Good luck!!!

Also it seems that I am seeing a new trend that they are now emailing and asking for the missing documents instead of returning the whole package. Am I right?

You are correct. I've started to notice that as well which is much more efficient and considerate towards applicants.
