got my oath invitation letter today, I passed my test on 28th October (Calgary)

I got the Oath invitation letter today in my mailbox. It's for Feb 3rd. E-Cas is not updated yet. Finally the journey comes to the end.

Congratulations!! The wait is over!! ;D I just had my oath On Wed.6, and just today I requested my passport!! 8). Very nice and emotive ceremony I gotta say. Hopefully you wont have any issues with the flights with the dates so close!!!

Ok, so I finally changed my flight ticket by few days and got back to Montreal just before the weekend. Looking forward for the ceremony this Tuesday. Congrats to everyone who receive his Oath letter.

I have the same problem out of canada and will return janv 14th so i hope i will be there in time.

Ok, I see you had your citizenship and did not miss it, I guess you made it on time with no flight delay Congrats.
My end I did not want to take a chance so I changed my flight ticket return, I am now back home waiting for the ceremony.

Hello all,

I had my oath ceremony today in Montreal and it was amazing
Finally a canadian citizenship and hope everyone will get very soon!
I am going to apply for the passport on tuesday as urgent since I am leaving on thursday night. Officer said to not go before the 2 days passed

Finally canadian after submitting twice ;D
first time in 2010 and judge reject my application because of missing days after getting a RQ and wasting almost 4years then in April 2015.

Congrats Babi22, Amine and all the rest on your oath / oath invites. Received my oath invite today in the mail for the ceremony in Mississauga on January 29th, yyaayyyyyy citizenship journey almost over. E-Cas however has no further updates other than Decision Made. Anyways, I'm so looking forward to attending this great ceremony of oath with my children and becoming Canadians finally!

We sent you a notice on January 13, 2016 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on February 9, 2016 at 9:00 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment.

Great, congrats Amine I still remember when you were anxious waiting for your AOR right before the new citizenship law came in force (June 11th), worrying that your application gets returned lol Here you are at the end stages of your citizenship journey... congrats

We have the same Oath date and location. I was surprised too with the location. I did not even know they hold oath ceremonies at Market Village.
