Hi All,
I haven't posted here since 2 years ago! It's good to be back again. I have a quick question from those who have recently mailed their citizenship application.
Can you guys tell me how many days you added on top of 1095 days when sending your application? Thanks.

Padding is completely your choice I personally believe one week is more than enough but if you feel you want to add more you can.

I did'nt mention client ID on Fee Receipt, My application will be return due to missing Client ID???????

They may or may not you should know in roughly 3 weeks, applications get returned in that time frame with a letter explaining why it was rejected.

My understanding ,Client ID is not generated until they receive your App then they will generate one
Add barcode sticker to this space

So do not worry

Client ID as far as I know is your PR Card No., even I forgot to fill in all the information by hand on the fee payment receipt I printed from the internet and just mailed it blank alongwith my application, lets see what happens, whether they accept it or return the whole package. Even I too am just waiting and hoping for my application to get accepted.

CIC don't return applications due to missing client ID. I recently Paid fee for PR spousal application and didn't mention UCI. I got approval with no issue. so don't worry at all

Client id is 8 digit number mentioned in the front of permanent resident card in the format xxxx-xxxx

I included it in my fee receipt

I got an email to aknowledge receipt of my citizenship application

I got an email to acknowledge receipt of my application for citizenship, it has UCI and application #. Is this email genuine? can I use the UCI to check the status of my application?

I think you can use both;

First use UCI and see
