Actually we did not know about the RPRF and also our lawyer did not mention it to us. I know that it is the last thing they ask. Didn't know it would cause delay either but thanks for the notes that we were able to see that right away.

I know and heard that the medical is uploaded to the system in about 3-4 days. Not sure how long it takes for them to actually review the medicals. My understanding is there are different groups withing the VO dealing with different aspects of the application.

Hi Impresso,,,once we called the doctor,cuz we were worried,,,and he told that emedical is valid in the system 3 months,CIC reviews the meds within 3 months,,ours is 2 months now,,we'll wait one more month and if nothing again will email them,,,

No news yet - nor is any update on the ECAS. We followed up by sending them an email that the medical has been sent and attached a copy. All we can do is wait. We contacted the local MP as well, but the lady who handles Cases - told me in a stern way, " there are many applicants in the same problems as you and VO is fair with processing each application in a timely manner, also you are well within the processing time"

so when I expressed to her that being away from my child and family is difficult, she suggested to go get my new born daughter from UAE, and to leave the mother there until processing is finished - I was speechless.

We contacted the local MP as well, but the lady who handles Cases - told me in a stern way, " there are many applicants in the same problems as you and VO is fair with processing each application in a timely manner, also you are well within the processing time"

My hubby called only CIC 2 times,,first time they asked him why he called them if my case was in normal process and they receieved my meds,,,and told him that the deadline to review the meds was up to 6 weeks,,second time they told that the deadline was until the 27th April,,but it could change because of the turn,,,hubby didn't ask anything anymore,,and we didn't know if they hadn't reviewed my meds or if they were in the Embassy,didn't know the matter was with CIC or the Embassy,cause 2 months for meds I think aren't short time for remed...
The good thing is that remed is the last request,after is ppr,,and we don't have to wait such long as since it.
Impresso,I am sure u will get the ppr very soon,,max in 2-3 weeks)))

I wish we would get even a request for something....Anything...the last case notes we rec'd two weeks ago the case had not been touched since Aug 2014 and there has been not one single word..no requests...Nothing...the site even says Application Rec'd 09APR2014 and nothing else...this is the most stressful thing I have even done in my life...I feel as if I have an illness and I am waiting for word on test results except the wait is over a year long...

Ohh ,,,I can understand ur feeling I am not in ur situation,but I can understand ur feeling,,It's realy very disheartening,,I saw from ur posts that ur case is in LA,,and the processing time in LA is long(28 or 32,,don't know exactly),,,but it's already more than one year,,,and I guess,I hope and wish that u hear smth,get a positive and long waited email very soon,,I strongly wish it,,,There is smth interesting,,,i have noticed when I wish and tell people(forum members) that they will hear smth and get ppr very soon,,in short time letter they get their requests haha,,maybe it's because I wish strongly and from all of my heart,,,now I wish it to u,,

I know exactly how you feel as I have been in your shoes. My files was received April 4, 2014 and it is only last April 28 that I received my medical request. Hang in there, your update is coming your way...

Believe the main issue is Correspondence and having a reliable system, where an applicant can check for updates. Even if CIC would find a way to update ECAS with the status changes found in the GCMS notes - anyone would be able to understand where their case stands.

At least people like us in this forum and can see an update such as " Medical Rec'd " or " App Transferred to Immigration Officer for Review " - This gap causes a lot of mental fatigue. Indeed I hope everyone gets their PPR soon.

May 11, 2015 and waiting for third set up case notes...it would have been 4 but CIC forgot to send notice to me, an error on their part and they admitted it, that they needed more info for case notes..still not a single word nor update...we paid up front...meds done up front...back ground up front..and that was over a year ago...site has never been updated and from the case notes it cause nothing has been done since Aug 2014 not because they system is not working correctly..I am hoping these set of case notes will clear up where the file is...the Immigration officer in March said the case was back in Ottawa but that was March and this is May so who knows...I have a feeling the case we still have not been touched since Aug 2014...I hate being a downer but I know I would fire people if a came across a case that had not been touched in over a month let alone almost 12 months...I just dont get it...

i just like to share my experience on this forum

sometimes last year, i applied to sponsor my spouse and my son, i submitted my application for sponsorship. after few months, i got a mail from cic that am not eligible to sponsor because i didnt inform the immigration that i was married as the time of landing for my permanent resident.

they sent the document to the local visa office because i requested that the document be sent to local visa office whatever the outcome of the sponsorship application.

But to my surprise, the local visa office back home sent my wife an email requesting for additional document for them to proceed with the application.

she submitted the requested documents, one week after, she receive COPR in the mail, ask her to pay for Right of Permanent Residence fee and also submit her passport and son.

isnt this miracle. still dont understand what is going on, am still in shock

has anyone has the same experience

Quit posting the same bloody thing on multiple threads, there is absolute no need for it already and just causing irritation by everyone.
