Hello Sunset0505 - Didn't see your previous posts, but wanted to ask you where are you located and which visa office is your application sent to ?

We are in the USA and the application was sent to Missiaaauga, then Ottawa, Sponsorship was approved, then LA...the Minister advised us that all US application were going to LA...in March we were in Montreal and the Immigration officer advised us the file was back in Ottawa...just got case notes for the third time and I have no idea what the immigration officer saw cause the file has STILL not been touched since Aug2014 but for my request for case notes....

Ohh ,,,I can understand ur feeling I am not in ur situation,but I can understand ur feeling,,It's realy very disheartening,,I saw from ur posts that ur case is in LA,,and the processing time in LA is long(28 or 32,,don't know exactly),,,but it's already more than one year,,,and I guess,I hope and wish that u hear smth,get a positive and long waited email very soon,,I strongly wish it,,,There is smth interesting,,,i have noticed when I wish and tell people(forum members) that they will hear smth and get ppr very soon,,in short time letter they get their requests haha,,maybe it's because I wish strongly and from all of my heart,,,now I wish it to u,,

Nothing,,,we only emailed The Embassy,but have not got an answer yet.
I am so happy that u got ur PPR,finally u can be with ur wife and baby,,I wish them a safe flight,,,and happiness to u

Thank you for your kind words - Over here in Canada I was able to contact my local MP to get things moving - I am wonder if you the sponsor can do the same as in contact your local MP?

oh,,I didn't know that...No,I am the applicant,my hubby is the sponsor.Sorry for my stupid question-what is MP?And how can he contact?He is in Vancouver.

MP is Member of Parliament - each city have their own local MP. Here you can go up to them and open a case to inquire about your application. Usually they do not entertain much - but they have quick ways of retrieving information.

This morning my poor wife and my little baby, took the bus to ADVO to see them in person and submit the visa. We explained our situation, and by the Mercy of All Mighty, Alhamdulillah - We got our Visa Stamped the same day. ;D ;D

I still couldn't believe it when she said that, a very big lesson learned, to never give up hope and hold on to the rope. My wife and baby will be flying out of the country this week.

What an incredible journey, all this time my wife was low and down for everything taking so long - but today when I heard her voice on the phone, after she got visa, no words can describe that moment of joy.

MP is Member of Parliament - each city have their own local MP. Here you can go up to them and open a case to inquire about your application. Usually they do not entertain much - but they have quick ways of retrieving information.

Thanks very much for informing Impresso,,I search on google,saw that MP is Member of Parliament,,but I prefered to ask u for clear information thinking that it could be another one (MP) LOL . ;D
