My application ws rec on 3rd of April so 42 days nw, so nthing to wrry, none of da April applicants hav got any news ol v cn do is jst wait, i think v vil b hearing smthing good soon if nt dis week den da nxt week for sure, good luck to all, fingers crossed.

I am hoping you guys receive news soon too! Makes me very worried seeing how I had to resend a form that was just simply outdated and it was received in Mississauga last week. If they haven't even started April yet, it could very well be another month for me if they work on a first in first out basis. Hope they don't put my one form somewhere to collect dust. The wait is unbearable as you all know.

I can't decide which month's outland thread I fit in, lol. I sent my application in Feb 2014 but knew I was missing one thing. We got a letter in March asking for the thing we were missing, sent it to them in April. I got my AOR last week (May 8 ) that they received our application April 23 and then the next day I got SA. So hopefully the rest of you April people will start getting SA soon

Just a small question...did ur AOR had UCI and file number?
And how is SA different from AOR?

I just received first email after 44days from cic informing me that they received my package..it has my UCI and file number. Nothing written except that they have received.
I am the sponsor.
Is it the AOR or SA I'm confused

That's your AOR - acknowledgement of receipt. SA is sponsorship approval, where they evaluate you as a sponsor to check if you're eligible. Once you get your SA, your file will be sent to the Visa Office abroad to evaluate the applicant.
