Life has been a whirlwind for the past couple weeks. My wife, step-daughter and I decided to take the opportunity to drive from Florida to Vancouver once we got the COPR. So they flew down and we loaded up our truck with all my stuff and took just over 2 weeks to drive to Bellingham WA. Did some shopping and then did our landing.

The process of landing was so easy and took less than 30 minutes including the wait time to get to the booth. We had the truck packed to bursting and a rooftop cargo bag and they did not even take a peak inside. I had the vehicle title with me and started the importation process at the border as well.

Went to service Canada yesterday and got my SIN number with no problems. Waiting on my Florida driver abstract to get my reciprocal drivers license. Submitting the application to MSP and expect to be eligible on November 1.

Good luck to all of you that are still waiting and thank you to all that have helped me and my family along the way.

Hi Guys, we received our PPR on August 12th, 2014 and our passport was delivered to CPC-Ottawa on August 20th, 2014. We supplied them with a return shipping label via Canada Post as was instructed by them. It has been 9 working days since they received it but I have yet to see the return shipping label be activated. Should I be concerned that it is taking this long or is this normal? Can I e-mail them requesting for an update?

We are so close to the end and it is driving me insane...

Have applied since April 22nd 2014 for my wife. cic approved it end of june 2014. Received CSQ August 27th 2014. Initial visa office was in Rome, but they have transferred our file in Ottawa. I don't know why. Anyone else having the same experience? I would appreciate it if you'd share it.

Should i have the non english conversation be translated to english?
