Hi Guys;

I just got my GCMS. Saying eligibility passed, medical passed (I did upfront),I paid the RPRF upfront as well, Criminality in progress. My Ecas status is in progress since 2nd June 2015. I added my wife in April 2015 as I got married. Could somebody tell approximately, how much time it will take to decision made from now on.

Please update. Received our PR cards today. Landed on May 19th at Saskatoon CIC office.

you can send email to your visa office requesting this change.

I dont think sending passport overseas is recommended. They might cease the passport. You can call CIC and enquire further.

A friend of mine in similar situation informed visa office and then they asked his wofe to submit passport to CHC new delhi.

Yes,You can't send passport overseas by mail. So I have submit my passport on 24 august and send email to change visa office for my wife, But I don't know how much time will take to change or when cic reply on my email request.I m just worried about this....

Absolute rubbish, my government sent me my new passport via mail which I received satisfactorily.................. GO FIGURE IDIOTS!

Dear Poojaree,

Calling names to other people in this forum will not change the facts.

Care to tell us is it Government of India you are talking about? If yes was it sent it to you directly from the regional passport office to your Canadian address via courier? Or it was sent to you by a vendor like BLS?

If latter is the case then you ought to know that vendors like BLS are authorized by CGI of the respective countries to send and receive passport on your behalf.

The passport can only be carried out of the country by the actual holder or by a person authorized to handle it.

Note of Caution:- If you passport is found to be sent outside of the country without the actual holder/authorized person carrying it, CGI/ GOI can revoke/cancel the passport.. GO FIGURE!!!!

I find it hard to believe that GOI sent you the passport directly via courier outside the country.

Again my humble request please avoid using unparliamentary language in a public forum. Fellow members have been through lot of tough times so an attitude like this is not going to help.
