Hi i am april applicant i applied on april 24. 2014. And i am still waiting for my medical. Still no answer from them

Did you try requesting GCMS notes and see what happened with your file?

Just received ready for visa email..what a relief after long wait.. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Surprisingly my ECAS status still shown Application received. So guys don't loose hope until last minute..

Congrats Veeru! When did you send your passport or rather when did they receive your passport? Just want to know how long they took.

I sent my passports on 21st April and they received on 22nd April. I used National Expresspost.
I am hoping to receive it by today.

Hi Friends,

So Yesterday I stepped in the CanadaPost Office. Bought 2 same size National Post Envelop, Cost me something around $30. (Envelop Size is somewhere mentioned in the email.)
Wrote address on the back of the envelop both One as Sender and Second as receiver.

Added the Original Email from CIC with Passport also Mentioned in the last page of email paper that Enclosed Passport for PA and Passport for Spouse and Original Email from CIC.

Sealed Envelop and posted before 5 as after 5 PM they collect all mails for transport. Check today morning Post was at Ottawa sort Facility.
So I believe it will be delivered today sometime before noon.

Thanks to all your wishes. Yesterday I send passports by CP express post(National) and tracking status shown its out for delivery. I wish my passport back with COPR before long weekend.

Hey Guys
I have question, may be this was answered earlier by one of you.

I am doing flag polling tomorrow or on Sunday.
I will have my landing page and the single time entry visa which is stamped on my psprt now and will be used for flag polling (not sure)..
I am flying to US on 11th and coming back on 15th May.

Can I enter Canada without the PR card (which will be delivered after a month) with the landing document to Canada?

I am going for a business visit to States.

Please respond and suggest ASAP.

Let's see what others have to say or experienced but I will be rather amazed to find that because of this PR process one'e freedom of movement is limited. I am from a visa free country so once I am landed and but have not received my PR Card, why should that inhibit my international travel?

I can do that if I dont have any other option. But here is the problem.

Permanent residents returning to Canada by airplane, boat, train or bus must show a valid permanent resident card (PR card) or travel document before boarding.

What I was trying to say applied to folks from visa free countries - the word "or" would suggest that these folks can come back without a PR Card - right?

thanks guys for input. Looks like I have to miss one of the training visit. I dont have time to apply for PRTD. I will do my landing with my travel to States next week.
