Hello seniors,

I'm an April applicant too. I did medicals in november and now I've received an email asking for a bunch more of documents (more pay stubs and a new police certificate from my home country).

Is this common? I'm a bit worried.

Thanks.

Did they requested medicals or you did upfront medicals

That's good news because they are already checking your files. Sometimes they ask for additional documents to verify things. Just submit asap those docs.

What is your ECAS status?

Hi everyone,

I am an April 2014 CEC applicant and my medical is done on Nov 12th. I received a query on 17th Feb for more documents. Here is the email request snippets :

> Client Information: Please provide a new letter of offer signed by your direct supervisor with a more detailed description of duties.
> Client Information: Please provide your personal history from 2002/03 to 2003/01.

As I have applied from Montreal and after AOR I changed my job and come to Toronto. My concern is what they are exactly expecting offer letter from my old employer or new emplorer ? I already notify them after I move to Toronto with my offerletter from new employer. And, during the time( personal history from 2002/03 to 2003/01), I was at my home as my graduation starts in the university from 2003/01, should I mention that I was at my home only ? Please suggest.

Thanks,
mantonio

The first request sounds indeed a bit confusing, given your current situation. If I were you, I would provide both letters (one from your old employer and the other from your current employer), along with a brief explanatory letter. It may be that CIC simply wanted to make sure if you're not going to settle down in Quebec; or that CIC feels your current info about your duties doesn't suffice.

Re your personal history, I don't think it matters whether you are staying in Canada or your home country or wherever. I suspect they just found some missing info in your personal history; and as far as you told them where you were (if you were unemployed and/or visiting home, just say so). I don't think that would affect your PR application in any way.

Thanks Leeeeeo. I am also thinking in the same line.

I already got medicals request. Does it mean my documents(employment letter,duties,t4 etc) met the cec requirements.

Not entirely. If you get MR you are either Eligibility "Passed" or Recommend Passed". The latter may need to ask for additional docs for support to become "Passed".

If you received RPRF request then you are all good, which also means that Eligibility is now "Passed".

You are correct with regards to your NOC and duties otherwise you will then be recommended for "Second Review by a Senior Officer" and MR will not be sent.
