Don't you always pay in cash in all immigration physicians anyway?

Where do you cross the line in voicing out one's opinion and in damaging someone's reputation?

Well, that's subjective to the point where she pointed out the name of the physician and what happened to her. Thus the doctor might remember her or contact her. As I said before, public forums are difficult to track (besides your IP address) and won't represent a threat to noone. I just edited my post because she might reconsider her post and I quoted her. I sent her my comments by PM.

Yes, as far as I know. I wonder why though.

I deleted my post. Thanks guys for the advice. I am not sure if defamation charges will apply to information based on a fact, but I don't want to risk.

That's true! Although I doubt who will do something with information gathered from an open / public forum. There are neither names nor ways of checking who we are. Anyways, I will un-quote her in case she decides to delete / update her post.

Opinion will be tested in court and if not held to be correct/true then they will claim damages - in this case it is damaging to a doctor's reputation so huge - can be millions

I understand your point, but bringing someone to court from a public forum is even more difficult than get caught downloading movies by torrents (currently filtered by all ISPs). We're all anonymous here, thus the chances are very low.

Trust me, they can find you if they needed to or wanted to.

BTW, this is how good the Doctor is where we got our meds - 2 days later we got this:

Hello XXXXX Family,

Good news! All the tests on your recent Immigration medical examinations at our office are normal. The files have been sent electronically using the Canadian Immigration eMedical system.
Regards,

Dr. XXXXXXX

Once they decide to screw you any ways......!!!!
Man they can Track you even in your sleep.....

VS1987,

I see you did upfront meds as well - did yours get loaded and is it showing in your GCMS notes and/or eCAS?

A Sincere Thank You to All:

I would like to say a special thank you to all on here. I feel that being on here has kept me sane because I saw the dialogue, networking and sharing info a great help. Otherwise I would have been in the dark. At least knowing what has been happening to others' files keeps everything in perspective and knowing that it is not only your file which has been caught in between the cogs of CIC has been helpful. Also, I did not have a clue about GCMS notes or Upfront Medicals, etc. I learnt all that through you folks - Thank you for all your support.

Yes, when I did upfront. They haven't sent me a Med Request but they uploaded the status on ECAS to Medical Results Have been received.

After that I received my GCMS note in early January2015 and found that they have update my medical status as passed in Last week of November and Changed status to Notes and ECAS in First week of December.

I hope this will help you to understand the system.

I understand your point, and I agree that it's probably not hard for him to track me down if he wants to. But to my understanding, as far as the posting is based on facts (as you know, I described my own experience) and there's public interest in distributing the information (I mentioned the doctor's name because I believe that other PR applicants have the right to know what they'll face before choosing a panel physician), defamation charges don't apply. Nontheless, I deleted the post simply to avoid any troubles. I feel bad however because it feels like I've decided to close my eyes to something very wrong for my own sake. I'd just say, for those who haven't done a medical yet, find a panel physician recommend by the seniors in the threads.
