what is inland landing??

CIC started new way for getting applicant PR without crossing the border and re-enter Canada.
This is nice way if you are living away from the border. CIC has centers that you need to visit and they will give you your PR if your VISA approved for PR.

No need to cross border, just be at the center when they give you appointment time.
You can still do Landing on border. But inform CIC that you are going to do landing on border if they call you for appointment.

All senior members if you think you can add more please do so.....

For what I've read, CIC will decide for you. You will receive an email from them. Something like final interview in the subject but it is actually a landing.

I saw some of the May 2014 applicants got their medical requests in this month. And here we still waiting for our MR and PPR. Not sure how CIC people prioritize their work. So frustrating.

Hi,
it's more or less a help from CIC. You can go to the border for landing even if you get such letter. Just call CIC and inform them about your intentions. Many applicants already did it (and CIC agreed).

To whomever followed my case:

Just got a reply back from CIC saying that my completed medical results were received on time, however due to some technical issue, the results have not been uploaded to the CIC system. They are working on fixing it. No further action from my side is required.

Well, at least, I'm a bit more relaxed reading this...

I did my medical on Nov 18. I have not heard anything from CIC since and my status has not been changed. Is this normal? Is anyone else in a similar situation?

I'm in the same situation than you. Don't worry. It looks like there is a technical issue with some eMedicals and they are on their way to fix it. I just got a reply back from CIC saying this.

and they never updated anything for my application after April 03, completed Medicals, provided PCC, and paid RPRF upfront
still waiting for any +ve signal.
