Most applications which received cic on 22nd april havent got any medicals.
My friend who applied on 15th april and cic recieved on 22nd havent got medicals request. He is really worried.
Hope these people start getting there medicals

ganapathi - my appln received on 16Apr and still waiting for medical request..do u know if tehre is any way to know our status like sending email to CIC or so..

IN ECAS it has not been updated for my application since 3rd April it is saying that application received. No status was updated for my application after that.

Also I would like to know is will I be receiving an email to pay RPRF ? Because when i applied for PR (me and my wife) we paid 1100 CAD ($550 Each)
is this RPRF fee different than the fee paid earlier when applied for PR and if yes then would you please suggest if this will be for me and my wife ($490 each) $980 total?

Please provide step details after medicals if anybody knows.
Appreciate your help guys.

Hi Veeru,

For RPRF you will receive an email from CIC. Its different from the one you paid earlier that is application fees.

RPRF is asked to you when CIC determine you are eligible for PR and they will send you an email that pay right of permanent residency feec(RPRF) that is $490 each. So if you are 2 member in family its $980.

Once you pay RPRF.. You wait for PPR(passport request).
after that you send your passport to CIC for stamping, once you receive your passport you are good to do landing.. after landing it will take around 1-2 months in to get PR card...

Veeru - they sent a notification for Medicals means, did u receive email from CIC..?

Hi Maxmoore,

My ECAS status is still Application Received. Under application received status below lines are added:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 14, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.

So under sheet please update two column- Medical done- 14 November
- Medical Received- 22 November

There is only one way to know whats wrong with our application i,e Apply for GCMS notes.
