Done!

May applicants are already receiving AORs though with longer wait times.

It seems it was a misleading information. NO AORs yet for May applicants. Somebody was messing with their sheet.

Hello Guys,
you can remove my name from the spreadsheet because my file was returned and i sent that back in may.
so i am May applicant and i have my name in May spreadsheet. or you can update the dates as sent on 14th May, rcvd on 15th, and no update yet.
Thanks and good luck.

Hey,

Still waiting to cash my draft. AOR is long way far i guess.

I am loosing my patience to email CIC but may be i am gonna wait this whole week and will see where it goes. Otherwise, I will email them next week. Coz its been more than 6 weeks now and i just found this from CIC site.

How to contact the Centralized Intake Office
If you applied to the CIO under the Canadian Experience Class and need information about your case, you may contact the Client Service Unit (CSU). Note that if your application has already been sent to the visa office for processing, the CIO will not be able to help you.

You will not get a reply to your email if:

you have not already applied under the Canadian Experience Class,
you are not authorized by the applicant to get their personal information,
you applied within the last six weeks, or
your question is about a topic other than your case.

Thanks

Hi backendcode,

Did you check with your bank regarding draft has chased or not?

If you see May spreadsheet and your timeline. It looks like 2 or 7 days gap and they did not receive any update on bank draft/credit card.

Friends, quick question. I know its quite early to ask but I have seen in this forum most of the 2013 applicants did medicals, RPRF payment etc., upfront. Usually after we receive AOR how many months we have to wait to do upfront medicals. What are the pros & cons on doing this?

This is good question. Actually, we need seniors input here.

You can undergo upfront medicals whenever you want. There's been a lot of talk about pros and cons, some
people say it decreases the processing time when it comes to the MR stage, some say it doesn't have an effect on the
processing time.
I did upfront medicals and some applicants who waited for the official MR got their application approved before mine.
That's just my two cents...
One thing to consider, the CPR and your pr visa will be valid for 12 months from the day you completed
the medical exam, so don't get it done too early as you will have to complete the landing before your pr visa and CPR
expires.

Thanks a lot Toby. This information is quite helpful :) Keep in mind of CPR and PR visa validity and processing timelines I think, I should do my medicals upfront in the month of mid Sep 2014.
