About a month. It depends, I think, on how long they are processing the AOR. It seems you might either get an AOR or your returned docs.

My friend got his returned docs about 2 months when he first applied last June 2013. Same timeline June 2013 applicants receiving their AORs.
If i dont get AOR and my file back in coming month. Can i submit a new application before my old application reaches me.How do i know the problem.

On the spreadsheet, there are 3 tabs located at the lower left of your screen. - Apr 2014, BOWP and Historical Data.

Click the historical data tab to view that page. The link is below.

Let me know if this is what you are asking.

Thanks Calaben, exactly what I am looking for. No idea what our lawyers are playing at, as they are refusing to contact CIC to enquire why AOR taking so long.

Well.. as you've mentioned, you don't know the problem. So how will you correct it? Wait for your docs to be back or your AOR (so much the better!).

Hi Swathi,
How do you know the problem! You should wait and hopefully you will receive your AOR.
In my case, my file was return when I applied in month of March. My file was received by cic on 13th March, they return it due to missing birth certificate on 23rd March (there was a stamp of 23rd March on my application generic form). I received the return package on 30th March.

Bank draft has been cashed on 20th May, now waiting for AOR. Hopefully it wont take many days as need to apply for BOWP.
Any suggestions to apply BOWP without AOR, as I have to go back to India mid of June.

Please update the excel- Bank Draft cashed on 20th May.

I'll probably give a call to my bank today and see if my certified cheque was cashed out. I didn't expect more than 30 days to get my AOR. I saw 19 - 25 days for people who applied at the beginning of April, so I thought we would have the same luck. However, it's about 30 days + and looks like it will take a bit more (probably next week). Really bad luck :(

Too bad to see the Process is getting delayed, hope normalcy is restored soon.

I have posted a question related with BOWP:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/medical-report-for-bowp-t205891.0.html

If anyone from April applicants can help. Thanks!!!

bumbak if you have a receipt or any other kind of proof that you made the medicals in September that should be enough. I used my receipts for medical that I took last July and I've got my BOWP in 11 days from my submission.
So any kind of proof should suffice as they already know that you submitted your medicals when you came in Canada.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to check the status of my application on line, and I was just wondering if I'm doing the right thing.

Here's what I am doing :
1 : go to cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp
2 : Select : Permanent residence from within Canada
3 : Select : Temporary resident permit holders
4 : Click : Check application status
5 : Check the box : I have read, understood and agree with the above Terms and Conditions.
6 : In "Identification Type", select : Client ID Number
7 : In "Identification Number', I'm putting my client ID like his : 1111-1111
8 : Fill the rest and click continue

Is this what I'm supposed to do ?

you're right! you can also put your client ID without the "-" just 8 digits and it's fine

That's what the website says, in reality however ECAS can update 24/7/365 on any day of the
week at any time.

ECAS Tool is available 24/7/365.

However, I am thinking that they are updating status of application on Tuesday only in ECAS tool.

No, that's not correct. My ECAS changed and updated on Wednesdays and Fridays as well. Other applicants
reported status updates on weekends. It's not limited to Tuesdays as the website says.

ok thanks.
