I am new in this forum. I sent my application last April 11. and Delivered to CIO-Sydney last April 14.

My name is Mihai and I'm also new to this forum. I sent my application on April 10 and it was received on April 14. Now I'm waiting for my card to be charged and for the AOR. Just hoping to get it soon.

Hi there - I notice that a lot of people are putting down a date received at CIO. Is there some way to check this or did you receive the information from your postage provider?

Also - on the CIC website the average processing time is given as 13 months. Can anyone tell me when this begins? Is it 13 months on average after you have your AOR?

I sent my application with Priority (tracking), thus I checked the status until it successfully arrived at CIO.

Good to know things are speeding up after the long weekend effect. Mine reached CIC office on 10th. I am expecting my AOR and CC charge sometime next week. Good luck.

Ok, it's a hypothetical situation... I know, but I've been thinking that maybe this change (express entry stuff) will speed up the processing time. Basically, the cap will be filled around october (1300 application per month - new cap of 8000 starting on May 1st), therefore we might get some boost between november / december before the express entry starts. I know, again... it's just a dream, but dreaming is currently free
