Still waiting... Application in process, they called me 3 weeks ago over the phone for some concerns

a friend of mine got his passport today.. he sent it on 16 Oct

I read somewhere that it takes from 2 to 3 weeks to received the passport back.

medical submitted 17th dec 2014 upfront due to other work permit request
medical requested 26th may 2015
Documents requested (police check, T4, Proof of income) 24th june 2015
Additional documents requested 23rd july 2015
RPRF requested 21st october 2015
RPRF Paid 23rd october 2015

for some reason i have been unable to find any trace of my application online since February

I wonder if you had submitted your police check initially with your documents.
With this speed all the police checks will be expired and I want to know if CIC asks for new police checks in this case.

Last week I received my passport. On Sunday we went to Coutts border(Alberta) and now we are Permanent Residents.

It took us I think 18 months, we submited our application on April 1st.

Status changed to "in process " mid October ... No update so far.. No PPR .. Upfront med and RPRF.. Anyone can share timeline by which time I should expect PPR...

I wonder if you had submitted your police check initially with your documents.

I did send a police check with the original application, I also included all documents I was later asked for, somtimes it seems like they don't even look at the supporting documents.

Status has changed to desision made and I have been informed it has been approved! Great news but no passport request just yet

Can I ask when your application status changed to in process... How many days before DM.. I am almost having same timelines as yours...

I believe it was the begining of Febuary this year, I still haven't recieved a ppr but after talking to cic they informed me the desision was made on the 28th oct
