Hello guys,

I did my landing on 15th May while coming back from States (training). The process was smooth at the Toronto Pearson Airport. Hardly took me 6 minutes and got the new SIN from their itself. Could someone please let me know how much time it is taking for the PR card to arrive at your place?

Thanks!

1) We received your application for permanent residence on April 15, 2014.
2) We started processing your application on May 26, 2015.
3) Medical results have been received.
4) A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Still I didn't send my passport for stamp and why they said like this? but I got my PPR request though.

Hi Everyone,

I've been following this thread as a silent member. Below are my application details and I'm so happy I got approved. June is my birthday month so this is an awesome birthday present for me. Please add me up to the tracker.

Application sent: April 17, 2014
AOR Received: May 20, 2014
Medical Request Received: February 10, 2015 (but I did the medical 2 weeks later because I had to travel)
RPRF Request: 5/27/2015
PPR Request Received: 6/2/2015 (sent my passport 10 days later because I had to travel again)
Got the Passport and COPR in the mail: 6/22/2015

Planning to land tomorrow at rainbow bridge. To those who already landed, did you bring Bank Statements and Proof of Employment with you and were they checked by the immigration officers?

Thanks!
J

Hi All,

I received CoPR yesterday (25 June 2015). This brings me to end of the PR race.

Planning to land at 1000 island border soon.

Good luck to all and will write again in detail my landing experience.
Have a great day everyone.

Successfully landed today at Rainbow Bridge. Is it really necessary to go through the US border services? I did, but the paper they gave me was not checked on the Canadian side. Landing process took roughly one hour, there were other people ahead of me but all in all it was a breeze. To answer my previous questions, they did not check for Proof of Employment, or Proof of Funds, but asked me for an ID that indicates my address in Canada. I gave her my driver's license.

This thread had helped me through the process and thanks for sharing them. Hope all April 2014 applicants will get their successful decision too. :)

Hey veeru5, I'm still waiting for my PR card since April 5th. The processing time is reaching almost 80 days, so I would encourage you to request a travel document right away (20 business days). Most likely, your card won't show up on time. Good luck!

Hi all,

I just checked my E-CAS and it showed 'decision made'! Clicking on it for further details showed 2 lines added:
3. Medical results have been received (I did an upfront medical and sent that in with my initial application)
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Now of course I'm crossing my fingers that the decision they made is positive..! Anyone ever heard of people being informed of a negative decision when it shows up in E-CAS like that?

I am from a visa exempt country and currently living outside of Canada, so I guess what I'm waiting for is a CoPR letter..?

thanks Maxmoore. Looks like I can't apply anything inside Canada. So the travel doc has to be applied outside of Canada. I am leaving Canada on 1st Aug and returning on 22nd Aug. CIC agent said I might receive my PR card by 30th July (76 processing days). so there is a risk but can't help it. Applying for Visa from India is pain in the back that takes almost 1 month. not sure if I have any other valid solution?

received my GCMS note yesterday
it shows Eligibility,Criminality, and Medicals = Passed
Other Req: Not started
App status reason: In Progress
Everything seems normal in my applicaiton except one thing that concerned me was
Under SECURITY CLEARANCE section it has sub category saying -> "Instructions from Partners" and under that STATUS = CANCELLED
Nothing related to "second review required" or "any additional docs required" as such is shown in the GCMS.
Not sure why its still in process :( ,, Someone plz advise what does "instructions from partners" means here ?
