I got a new position within same employer. I sent an e-mail to CIC in order to update my working situation.
However there is no answer. Should I apply the GCMS?

HI Maxmoore, when you are requested the passport, the status online is in process? or it was document received, or my question is in order to receive the request for passport, is that my status should be in process instead of document received.

you don't need to do anything and also don't expect any answer regarding your new position from the CIC.

Yesterday I had received my GCMS notes .Here are some highlights: Eligibility : recommend passed , Criminality : No reportable trace, Medicals :medicals initiated for all applicants Requested Documents/Action : all generated in GCMS or awaiting results, Recommendation : Appears to meet requirements .

Questions 1 : Please advise me regarding my medicals status I am confused here what they to want say. Moreover my medicals have been received and shows online.

Question 2 : My security has not been started yet but online status is In Process. Please share your experience how long is its going to take clear security checks.

I have sent both hard copies and soft copies of my T4 and NOA today...will they ask more documents or is it the final list what they have asked me now?

There is no change to my ECAS...it is still application received...btw I had done upfront medicals and RPRF

Nobody knows to be honest. It's based on the VOs assessment on your case. Usually, they ask additional documents once but they there are a few instances they ask for more.

I am guessing your GCMS date is before the time your medicals were uploaded to CIC thus you don't see any notes regarding your medicals.

In bold means that you are good to be sent an MR.

The "In Process" comes after "Applicaiton Received" and "Decision Made".

This has a vague meaning for everybody depending on the VO updating it. In my case it happened when my Eligibility is "Passed" (not "Recommended Passed") and Medicals has also passed.

Security and Criminality were almost done. I am guessing this as well because it took 3 months for my case to change to "In Process" after Eligbility and Medical passed.

Yes, my status was In-Process. However, don't pay attention to the status. I remember 1 guy from February who go PPR with Application Received after his Medicals were uploaded. It's a matter of how frequently your VO manages your application rather than reflecting your real status properly.

Based from another thread who just had their return tracker activated, roughly more than 2 weeks.

It took 2 weeks for my case but then again that varies. You can see others have waited for months from In Process to PPR. Let's see how the trend goes this time.

As maxmoore said, the process is becoming a bit faster nowadays.
