Please see my comment in green for Blue Q
good luck
I have a similar question here. I've got the MR but since my wife is pregnant, she cannot take the x-ray test. However, she used to take a test last December for a work permit application and never leave Canada afterwards. Can I go to the same physician and ask him to submit that result? Besides, it seems my application probably will be deferred, should I send the PCC right now?

Yeah! I should browse first all the post before posting "Sheet Updated" next time. :P

I submitted my PCC without waiting for CIC email.

PCC received by Ottawa office yesterday nearly 11:00 AM. As per the Tracking number details.

So how long Ottawa officer take time to update my PCC in the file?

I sent them a note saying I sent the PCC by mail and requesting a confirmation that it was added to my file.
Got a reply after 3 days confirming the documents were added to my file.

Hi I applied for PR on 28th April 2014. Still awaiting my Medicals request (hoping for the request to come within this week or the next one).
Anyway. I have to leave Canada around 25th December. I understand from the forums that i would need to update my address by sending an email to cpc-ctd-ottawa @ cic.gc.ca for change of address to indian address.

What i want to confirm is that if i recieve my medical request and in case I finish my medicals in canada before leaving, and then change the address, how does the next steps work out. obviously i think CPR can be paid online . WHAT ABOUT THE Passport REQUEST ?? and does it take more than the normal processing time once the address gets changed to Indian addresss

Why you want to leave? You can apply for BOWP also.
However, medical can be done anywhere from medical panel physician recommended by CIC.

Yes it does.. your total hours is 32 X 52 = 1664 hr/year which is more than criteria, so it counts.. min 30hr/week in a year with total of 1560 meets the criteria

Work experience

To apply for permanent resident status through the CEC, you need at least one year of full-time experience (or the equivalent in part-time work) as a skilled worker in Canada. Full-time work means at least 30 hours per week, and you need to have worked at least 1,560 hours in a year. The one-year of work experience must have been obtained within the three years preceding the date your CEC application is received.

PhDstudent,

From what email have you received the request to pay RPRF?

I would like to do a search on my email, in case it went to the trash.

Tks!

I received an email stating that my family's medical examination results were normal, and they are now sent electronically using the Canadian Immigration eMedical system.

Should I now wait ecas status change from "application received" to "medicals received" at some point?

Thanks,

sonico

Hi

Can anyone tell me whether getting your medicals done before applying for BOWP is mandatory.??
