Dandash, I know they are not mentioned in the checklist. But if you read carefully Question 6F of the form CIT 0002 (Feb 2014), you will see that they ask for work and/or education records... Whether they will return your application or not, I am not 100% sure and I hope not...

Hello guys same here i did not submit my record of employment bec. It was not in the checklist and after 2 weeks they returned my application and they were only asking only for the school records for my kids.....whatdo you think are they going to return it again bec. I did not provide my employment record? Any help please.....

Its good to provide employment documents such as NOA/T4s since you have an opportunity. But they wont return your application for that reason.

Otherwise send only what they ask for. Its good to know they are returning within 2 weeks. I thought it takes 2 months to return..

Hope and pray everything goes well with your application next time..

It has been a month since our application was received by CIC Sydney. Nothing yet (I mean, I sure hope nothing was missed), not that I expect any AOR or online status at this point of time.

looks like average now is around 40-50 days.. Mine is only 15 days so far.. You are close to there..

Hello fellow applicants
Do we have an excel sheet type of list to input our specifics and to track our relative progress & see what others are doing?

Hey guys,

I sent my application on April 14th and it was delivered by Canada post on the 16th... To date i have not received any confirmation from CIC.

Does it make a difference which province/city you apply from? I'm from Montreal...

Thanks

Processing timeline in Sydney seems to be the same for everyone. Count roughly 46-47 days to have the eCas information appearing online (You might get lucky and have it slightly earlier). Once they open the file and send it to the local office, things change. So far, I've noticed that Mississauga and Halifax are leading...

Hope this help.

Check your online status by the end of May or first week of June...

The sheet in my below signature is for all year 2014 applicants. Please update your records

Ok thank you all, guess will have to wait couple of weeks and see... Will keep you posted.

attention (ondang2) u dont have to worry about about cic returning ur application a second time for another missing item.....they have already view ur package and saw what the missing item was...which is ur child/children school record....that would b dump of the cic office and a waste a time of government funds.....they already saw whats missing

Did any April guys get ecas update? Those who applied in first week of April, did you check your ecas?

Hey, my application was received on April 10, but still nothing's on my ecas.

I am scared they might return my application as I filled out the older form not the one was up on Feb 2014, though there is not much of a difference (I'd actually filled out the form a couple of months before they changed it so I didn't notice until I saw some people here wondering about the proof for work experience).

The magic number ranges 37-44 days. Hope I'll see something online than in my mailbox. :D
