We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 4, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on April 4, 2014. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on May 29, 2014.

Should i take it as no news is a good news :)

E-cas

Just April applicants are struggling to go ahead with the procedure, March applications are completed. In some offices, May is also going in great pace.

Fingers crossed for April applicants in coming week.

Please post your happenings soonest !!

i posted this on June 2014 thread. But re-posting in April thread since i start my application in April and re-filed in June after it was returned:

We (family) had our test today at Vancouver. Test and Interview both went well. Interview done separately for each applicant in the family

The staff at Vancouver Immigration Office were very friendly, especially the front desk. The interviewing citizenship officer was very pleasant. He diffused our anxiety in the first few minutes. He was open to listen to anything that we had to say. He worked with us to validate all our claims in the application.

I had taken CBSA and CBP travel records obtained through ATI. That helped a lot to verify residency calculation within a short period of time. I would advice everyone to take them with you if you can. Residency verification is probably the most time consuming part of an interview.

My timelines:
App received: April
App returned: June (incomplete application quoted)
App re-filed and received: June
AOR: September
Finger Print: September
Test: November

Oath: 3 to 5 months indicated

Good luck to everyone. Hope to see progress for all our friends

Application Sent : 03 April/2014
Received Line Disappeared : Mid September/2014
Test Letter Received : 06 Nov/2014
Test Date : 26 Nov/2014, Scarborough

All the best to other applicants.

One query : I received the test letter invitation for me only, not for my wife. Do they send only one test letter for the whole family as we applied together?
