April 2012 PR applications

Lets see, hoping will get the AOR soon.
Not sure why it is taking so long for them to just send the acknowledgement.
Based on the previous timelines only for very few applicants it took more than 4 months.
Guess we all are bunch of unlucky ones waiting to hear from them so desperately.

true...the time taken to issue AORs has only gone up...based on the past timelines I was expecting my aor mid - late august...and its mid october and no sign of aor....lol....it sure is very frustrating...cant fathom why they are taking so long...they dont seem to b issuing meds with the aor either....CPP-O has not even responded to my email ...so looks like this is going to be one long journey...

well..i had mentioned everything in my email and I still did not get a reply...in the May thread I saw a couple of applicants getting a response to their email...unfortunately...I dont think we can do anything except waiting and I am so tired of waiting ...also I think we should move this conversation to the JUne thread..instead of hijacking this one... ..have a good weekend !

I have been thinking about this today, and my theory is that the Minister put a hold on new FSW applications as well as investors, entrepreneurs...etc..., and instead of the employees working hard to finalise what's in teir hands, they thought that what he did is give them a working vacation, as if he is telling them to play and work slowly. As if his decision is a break for them. kitkat time.

Hello everyone,

I've been following this thread for a while but this is my first post here.

This is my application's timeline up till now:
Received: 5th April, 2012
AOR: 25th June, 2012

I was checking on Trackitt and I noticed a few people that had applied after me and got their AORs after mine have already got their Medical Requests already.
Even though I know that every case is different and all but I'm starting to get worried.

Should I be worried? Do I need to do something?

My time line documents received at Sydny 12th April and AOR july 13th and still waiting for the medical.

sent the wrong photo sized picture which was delivered on Friday however, i took new photos today and mail them with a cover letter and the letter received from the VO .. now i pray this will not delay my pp return too long

how can it be slowing, other forums ar esaying it is fast, and a March applicant got PPR!
It is just us May applicants we got the raw end of the deal.

Guys,

I have sent emails to CEC and no reply from them, tried to call up 1-888-242‑2100 to get the status from monday this week and they say that we have a high volume of calls.

Do we have any other way to contcat the Ottawa team ? other number ?

I applied in April 10 and got the AOR in July end. Thx

Started processing September 28.

I sent my police check with the application, got it done around the same time. Should I be preparing to get a new one soon?
