Hello everyone!
Sorry, I didn't have time to write. We have "in process" status 09/10/12 and a letter with a request of passport 12/10/12. So I sent passport to the Moscow Embassy last Monday (16/10/12). I hope I will get it very soon :D P.S. No additional documents or interview were needed

:D Another update for the spreadsheet please! Our COPR arrived today!! Woo hoo, we're good to go! Our stuff is already somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean and we are leaving Scotland on the 28th November! :D

Good luck to everyone who's still waiting!

Hi everyone. I am on the april spreadsheet so I thought I'd let you know my situation - I found out last week that my file was never sent to London. It's still in Mississauga. Don't know why - they couldn't tell me. They just said they would enquire and I should call back in a few weeks.

Congrats to everyone who's application is going smoothly! To those in situations like mine, well, you're not alone.

You received sponsor approval, but then your file was never transferred to your visa office?? Or you just haven't heard from them?

Yes, it was never transferred. We got sponsor approval and then, I enquired last week about my file and London replied saying that they never received it.

How frustrating! And they won't even tell you why. I don't understand how this stuff is a secret when they files are our own! I wonder how common that is..

I'll tell ya why it's a secret . . . they DON'T KNOW why is what's up. You can't share a secret that you don't know.

Apparently, the agents can only tell you the info that is in the system. The agent only knew where my file was but not why. He sent an enquiry to the right department and it can take a few weeks for that department to respond to the enquiry. :(

Congrats!!!!! Soooo exciting!!

Just wanted to ask if you checked online and if your status ever changed to in process or did they just have it as application recieved?

My status changed to 'in process' shortly after the file was transferred - I'd say probably two weeks. It changed to 'decision made' a couple of days after I received my COPR.

Last week my husband received request to pay the permanent resident fee, and then this morning we woke up to a passport request. I thought we'd have to wait for the PPR once we paid the RPRF, so this is happening a lot faster than I thought!

Hey all,

Take a look at this

I guess most of us are lucky that we got our applications in before now.

Wow, interesting stuff. So just to clarify, any application submitted before Oct 25th 2012 will still go under the old rule, and after Oct 26th 2012 will go under conditional visas if together less then two years at the time they apply and have no children together?

Hello everyone, i am preparing putting together all the requested documents for my wife's interview cos our visa office is one of theose offices that calls for interview before issuing a visa. My question is that for the photos requested, are we allow to bring them our bed room pictures cos i am not sure whether it might be offensive to some Visa officers due to religious reasons? Thanks
