We also got a request for the rprf fee, passport bio page and entry/exit certificate this week. We are trying not to get too excited in case there are other hurdles but we are definitely hopeful.

Sounds like a good step, you're definitely getting closer! hope you'll hear back from Seoul soon enough.
Good luck,
Sweden

Confused, what else has to be done after receiving the passport with visa?
In the Philippines you have to bring your passport with visa to take some required courses to get a stamp for leaving the country. They are like orientation courses for life abroad supposedly.

And congrats KJG! It's nice to see so much movement coming along.

Hello everyone, i haven't posted for a while and i would like to congratulate those who have had their sponsorship approval, ppr and visa. I also would like to encourage those still waiting to stay positive and soon will have good news.

Question: could someone tell me how to pay the right of permanent fee for my spouse? I was asked to do so and i already have an extra bank form with me so can i pay the amount $490 at the bank and send them the receipt? If so can someone tell me the address to send the reciept. Thanks in advance

You could also pay it online with a credit card, it might be easier.

hi , i printed out our old pics and wedding pics in a glossy photo paper (short bond paper size) 39 pages with 4-6 pictures per page and put them in a brown envelope, is that ok?

I asked about this too because I couldn't pay online. I just got my father to go to the bank and pay it for me. Then we sent the official copy 2 to Mississauga and a copy of copy 2 to our visa office. This is what my immigration consultant told me to do. They also said that we should put the File #, UCI of your spouse, birth date and name even though there is no real space for it. We put the file name beside my name (payer) and then the other information in the last line of the address.

And thanks Sweden. We hope so too!

LANDED!

It was very easy and painless - we simply drove down to the border. The officials at the Canadian checkpoint instructed us to drive through to the USA checkpoint, where they issued a form for me to sign (withdrawal of application to enter USA), and turned us back around to the Canadian checkpoint.

Back at the Canadian checkpoint, the process was quick and straight-forward. They took my paperwork and asked me to sit in a waiting room for a few minutes, then returned with a couple of things for me to sign. The immigration officer asked me to write my mailing address, advised me of my rights as a permanent resident, and sent me on my way. He was friendly and polite, with a few cheeky jokes to ease the nerves.

So glad it's finally properly over, and I'm off to pop a bottle of wine! :D

Congrats!!!!! Soooo exciting!!

Just wanted to ask if you checked online and if your status ever changed to in process or did they just have it as application recieved?

This is a great information and i am going to do exactly the same. Thanks you so much!

No problem BBC :)

So after sending the documents that they asked for last week, we got a new email today asking for a Korean criminal record check. We're sending it tomorrow and hoping the next email will be a passport request! (or something similarly easy to get)

:D Can you update the spreadsheet please. Our ECAS just changed to 'In Process' this morning! Its dated 18th Oct. :D So happy, hopefully we'll be done soon.

Good luck everyone!

Our e-cas has also changed to in process as of Oct 19 ;D

YAY! Congrats!

Hi everyone. I am on the april spreadsheet so I thought I'd let you know my situation - I found out last week that my file was never sent to London. It's still in Mississauga. Don't know why - they couldn't tell me. They just said they would enquire and I should call back in a few weeks.

Congrats to everyone who's application is going smoothly! To those in situations like mine, well, you're not alone.
