I am one of the applicants of April 2010. My application was received by CIO on 21st April and its been 82nd day today and I haven't got any response.

Is there any way one can find about the status of the application? any number? or email ? of CIO.

hello everyone! how can I know If I am an April applicant? Is it when CIC received my initial appplication or the date I was charged by my credit card? Or the day the Visa Office in my country received my documents?
Please help I am anxious about the June 26, 2010 new rules.

Can we show group certificate and payslips as proof of funds along with bank balance certificate,

You can show it but it will only count as a income you earn per annum for proof of funds you need savings to show that you have money saved after paying your expenses.

Hi Jamy,

You will need to get the PCC from your local police station ask your relative or friend to get it for you, they will need to go to the police station they will give the PCC form which you will need to fill and give authorisation to your relative/friend to get PCC on your behalf. It takes about 2 weeks time.

Hi,

The day CIC received your application will be your application received that so if you have sent in April and CIC received it in April then you are an april applicant does not matter if you have not heard or your credit card is not charged yet.

April applicants are very well corresponding with each other as you can see from the thread how much everyone in invovled its just the CIC who is not giving us any lift lolz

thanks saki! My credit card billed me already and the billing date is June 30, 2010. CIC received my application April 20, 2010. Now I am waiting for my AOR. I am happy. thank you once again

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?

You can also check the status of your application online after you get a client ID. Call them and follow the instructions below:


You need to call at 16139444000 and then select options in this sequence 1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. Since you don't have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id.
