Hi Saki,

It seems that 9th April delivered by courier service application is expected to enter in CIC systern at 12th April or later as 10th and 11th April was weekend. Personally I might have no problem because I have sent application with IELTS score.

All AOR Receivers,
can you please share your experience on this issue since you have already received your client number? We all may need to shift "Received by CIO" date to one or more days

Hi Prince,

Yes you are right 8th or 9th April applicantion might have entered into the system after 10th April. I will leave the list Received Date as it is because we are not exactly sure which date they have been entered so better to leave as it is.

Hi All,

An update for everyone. One of the march applicant's CC was charged on the 16th June and applicant received AOR on the 17th June. Which means we can also receive the AOR very next day after CC is charged, so hopefully we all dont have to wait till end of july to get our first AOR especially those whose CC/DD is not even charged yet.

saki thanks for your reply to my last e-mail. i have a question if you or any one could help. do CIC enter the application into the system when CC/DD is charged or it just enters the data in the system and DD is charged, some times after it. Further how much time is required to charge a DD once they initiate it.

Hi Dream,

CIC entered the application into the system when they received it and after that they assess it later and then CC/DD is charged. It is unknown how much time they take after initiating it because it depends when they have entered the application into the system but as normal these days its taking 45 - 60 days to get CC/DD charged from the date of application received.

You need to call at 16139444000 and then select options in this sequence 1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. Since you don't have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id.

Yes, I have Skype with unlimited calling to USA and CANADA. Its a cheap option. $2.5 a month.

hi. i sent my initial application on April 3 2010 to Nova Scotia through DHL but it has reached Halifax...
When April 2010 applicants shall be receiving acknowledgement or AOR....I applied without IELTS & to CHC Islamabad.

Are you sure about CHC Islamabad? for Pakistan applicants after 1st April CHC is London. Plz confirm with other Members of this forum from Pakistan.
In that case, I am afraid, your application may be returned as it happened with a few other people.

Yes all applications for CHC Islamabad are now supposed to go to CHC London. From previous msgs i guess dream_Can has not yet received the 1st AOR from NS Sydney Canada.

Dream_Can please send your full docs to CHC London not to CHC Islamabad otherwise it will be returned as Sapana said.
