You might be Japaneas. one of my colleague whose name is also Saki is Japaneas, Generally Japaneas are possitive and nice toward difficullities but I am not and cant forget thinking over my application. (specially with taht mistake of paying online and filling credit card information both together) :-[ I hope they ignore the online payment and debite the amount again from credit card.

Hello

I want to start my Fast Track Immigration process, but I am bit confused in my case. As my spouse is a Biomedical engineer NOC code 2148 (having five years working experience) and I am a Senior Software Engineer NOC code 2173 (having 2.5 years working experience).

Please any one suggest that who will be the principal applicant in our case? Does my profession lies in 0213 category or any other suggestions.

Thanks

Confused :(

Hi Bushra,
For applying under NOC 213, and any other NOC category for that matter, you need to have at least 1 year of experience where you were performing at least 70 % of the duties specified in the NOC category.
As for 213 If you have performed the specified duties then you can apply but if the 2.5 years exp. that you have specified is your total experience then I doubt you will qualify, as managers need to have around 7-8 years of experience before really taking up managerial responsibilities.
You have not specified you educational background , if you have an MBA or such managerial degree then 2.5 years of total experience can make you a manager and then you can safely apply under NOC 213.
I repeat again its not your designation and total experience but the experience (>= 1 year) of performing the duties specified in the NOC description that matters.
You can seek advice from seniors in this forum and also can visit a reputed immigration consultant explaining him the situation and find a way ahead for you.

All the best.

Continuing the previous post,
Me and my husband faced the same problem when we were deciding on who is going to be the principal applicant. My husband has masters degree and has around 6 years of experience and he also has performed the managerial duties specified in the noc 213. but due to the recession during the last couple of years he did not get the promotion (only the responsibilities >:() and his company could not give the letter underlining the managerial role. They could only specify the duties associated with his current designation and we did not think that would be satisfactory under 213. Hence I became the principal applicant.
So the idea is not to worry or panic but find out the ways and means to best fit in the given guidelines and leave the rest to the almighty.

June is approaching so gear up April applicants. AORs will inshallah start filtering in from 1st June onwards.

To Sapana

As far as my education is concerned, I am a BS in Computer Sciences. My husband is MBA plus B.E in Biomedical Engineering but I think his profession not lies in fast track process.

I have read out in several posts that 2173 falls in sub category of 0213 and so is eligible for FSW PR.

Could anyone please advise me what should I need to do in my case?

Just got IELTS results: speaking- 8, writting- 8, listening- 7 and reading- 7 ; overall band- 7.5
I think that makes 14 out of 16, right ?
I submitted a letter indicating english proficiency in my application to CIO but took the IELTS anyway to be on a safer side.
Should I send the IELTS score to CIO as I had checked the wrong box (no english test taken) in my application and have it changed or just leave it alone and submit IELTS only with second application to CIC?
Thooughts appreciated.

[application received by CIO 19th April and still checking CC and e-mail several times a day]
