Dears,

Is it mandatory to do the medical check ups from the applicant's own country? One of my friends is living away from his own country and his consultant told him to come back to his own country to do the medical check up. I am wondering is CIC such strict to this instruction, since there are also prescribed doctors in that country where my friend is residing? Pls throw some lights.
if he updated his country of residence with CIC they should send the request to his new address

To all fellow April 2010 applicants,

The pace at which MI3 applications are proceeding really don't know when are our applications ARE scheduled to be reviewed. It will be almost two and half years since we started the process of application. Even if NDVO is taking time, its fine but there should be positive result in the end. We should not become part of their backlog which they will want to get rid of, like pre 2008 cases. FiNgers crossed for best results.

It has become part of daily schedule to check forums to see if in flow of MRs has at least started for any April 2010 applicant. Im sure the case would more or less same for all. Hope this hardwork and patience brings fruits of success.....

Hoping the best for all....

It is not mandatory to do the medicals in your country of origin. If you live outside your native country you can do it with any Designated Medical Practioner in ur country of residence or anywhere in the world provided it is with a DMP.

Thanks Cynmax! This has happened because he didnt update his address change and he doesn't it either now only to avoid further delay in the process.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

NDVO should have started with some of the application they have already completed. I am not sure of how they do the things, but no news is killing me. All plans are on hold and waiting hard to go to get that leaf

I got my GCMS report yesterday. Following are the main points to share:

Application group name - MI1 RFV Docs pending
Points awarded by the VO – 77
Selection Status – Passed
Security Status – BLANK
Criminality Status – IN PROGRESS
Comments by VO – Eligibility passed, Funds Met, Crim pending. ECD: Please issue med X 2, and request :- Indian PCCs, RPRFs, PPTs
Last application update date: 01.06.2012

My question: Should I send them the PCCs right now without their request letter?? It might save some time in further processing.

Brother,
From what I can gather you are in an excellent position to receive Medicals next. However I note that you are also one of those who received the 6 to 12 months wait letter. When did you get the in process date on ECAS? Perhaps 6 months from then you will receive medical request.

Congratulations!!!

Regards,
Smikri

Dear All
I got medical examined on 29th June, and sent (via courier) London Visa office my updated police certificate and schedule A (back ground declaration) form dated June 30, 2012.

In my all initial forms (2009) and updated forms (June 2012) my employer remains same but on 1st July (Next Day after submitting Schedule A and police certificate) I resigned and joined another company same day.

Do I need to update Visa office regarding my new job or remain quite?

Please, advise.
Thanking you in advance.
