Mona,
Thank you for helping me out....

It's true that it's for parents and grand parents only, they are issuing super visa of 20 years validity for parents. I am sure they will not put a block on accepting federal skill applications.

Hi Sandy,

You r right. CIC will not accept any sponsorship application for parents & grand-parents for a period of 24 months starting from 5th November. The 2 year ban is not applicable to FSW program, and I don't think CIC will ever do the same to cater its increasing demand.

Its 10 Yrs Visa not 20 yrs

with a Max stay in one go of not more than 2 yrs

decision will be made within 4 months and the sponsor has to canadian Insurance to the dependents ,No liability should be on the govt

Becomes applicable first week of dec this yr

If its not a BUG, then I don't think its a good news. They are trying to clear the back log - this way or that way.

Most likely it is a BUG!

I am 100% sure it is a bug bez so many applications has the same status. More more thing i noticed that all applications belong to April. My address is also missing. Some days ago address was missing but didn't get anything new after that. I think it is a system error. Mostly they update their site on Tuesday only in their working hours but when I saw my app status there was 5am. One main thing, lets hope for the best and pray for all..

Take care
Mona

My address too disappeared on 1st Nov (status turned to In Process with RBVO) and it reappeared on 11th Nov. Nothing after that.

Time-line mentioned in the e-case doesn't look right. When did u send full docs to ND VO? have you got 2AOR at all? If they reviewed yr appl, on August 2010, why did it take them so long to send any mail (if there was any). U haven't mention you got any correspondence from them so far..?
So, it must be a system bug
