Hi guys,

Im assuming we'll be recieving our AOR this June, so I wanted to ask when we recieve our AOR and we need to submit our documents until Oct (4 month timeframe), do we need to submit our proof of funds? Or do we submit that at a later time. Any info on this would be appreciated as I actually dont have the funds yet. Also, if I send my proof of funds (I need $20,600 as we are a family of four) and I suddenly deposit that amount a few days or weeks before I pass my papers, would I be denied? Thanks for the help.

You can submit a A/C balance certificate. it will only mention the total balance in your A/C and wont show the deposit date. thats what i am planning to do...

Hi Seniors,

Plz advice.

I applied in FSW 1111.it recived by NS on 7 April.

my exp is as on....

FSW 1111 jul 2002 to Jan 2005= 2year,7 months 17 Points
Non FSW Category Mar 2005 to Present = 5 years 2 Months 21 Points

can you plz tell me i ll get only 17 points(FSW Category) or i get 21 points for over all experience. if i get 21 thn its easy to clear 67 points benchmark.otherwise its diffcult to get full 16 in IELTS to get benchmark of 67 points.

Any idea ! :(

Thanks Haral and kabayan for the info, I appreciate it.

yup, haral is correct. the term "documentary evidence" is vague, so i believe a a/c balance certificate will do. any other views?

My friend submitted documents (salary certificate and contract) to show that the company will pay them Xamount of gratuity after they resign. (this form part of their proof of sufficient funds) do you know if these documents can be submitted as well? anyone who has the same experience? my friend submitted their docs in feb and are awaiting the 2nd aor. will keep you posted on this as well.

i'm bit wary on this as they mentioned "transferable and available funds"...

If you have sent your application on 28 April, you can check with the courier company or use the tracking number to find out when the documents have reached Nova Scotia. (That is the date for Application Delivered or Received by CIC-NS). When you receive the Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) from CIC-NS, that is the date your process starts to come into play.
Hope this helps!

You will get 21 points as long as your job duties exist in the Skill type O/A/B list.
As per the operational guidelines:

If your application is eligible for processing, you must also meet the following minimum requirements to qualify as a skilled worker:

* you have at least one year of continuous full-time paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment, AND
* your work experience must be Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification list, AND
* you must have had this experience within the last 10 years.

STS

As far as i know the only funds are sufficient which you have currently in bank out or as a savings certificates, immi does not take in account the money which you will be receiving in the future such as by selling car, property or gratuity from job and also with the a/c statement its better to show 3 months statement and better to have money in the account in this time as immi may ask you to give explanation on the funds u just deposited in one transaction. You can say that u have sold ur car and these funds are from there bcoz immi can assume that funds r not actually urs and u have borrowed it from someone.

i'm bit wary on this as they mentioned "transferable and available funds"...

hi, the CIC clearly mentions that the funds available should not have been borrowed . Now, it is upto us to prove that. This is only if you dont want to raise any eyebrows at the CIC.
for eg, if you just sent a balance certificate to the CIC, they might wonder if you have always had that money or just borrowed a day before to show the CIC.
If your funds are genuine, then always send in 3-5 months bank statements. All the embassies in the world know that you can borrow huge amounts for interest just to show for visa application, and that many people do that.

Hi Friends,
I am saleemjosh, and I applied for PR in FSW category.
My application was posted on 1st april and received on 6th April by DAVE.

I am wondering what will happen after this and how I have to prepare myself (for what paper works and interviews?)

if any one know what happens after application is received.

Please let me know.
I would be more than thankful.

regards and good luck for all
