Hello

So i am a single mother and work two jobs currently. I have recently sent in a sponsorship application 2 weeks ago. I just wanted to know the duration and approximate time it takes for me to hear back from CIC as to if i was approved or refuse?

However, i wanted to know the chances of a sponsor getting approve or refuse..Do they look at the fact that i am a single mother working both jobs.... and yes my daughter is my husbands thats abroad.

ANXIOUSLY WAITING, HELP HELP HELP.

THANKS :)

It currently takes about 85 days for sponsor approval, so hopefully you here within or before that timeline. They will look at your pay stubs, but the most important thing is that you aren't on welfare (even better if you've never been on it). When your husband arrives and gets a job making a Canadian wage, it should be a little easier financially, and CIC know this. I wouldn't worry too too much about being denied for financial reasons since you are working two jobs.

They can refuse for financial reasons, but this is more likely to happen for someone who is not working, doesn't have savings, and doesn't have any family around to help them if times get rough. Do you have family in Canada as well?

Thought I can chime in :)

An application cannot get rejected cause the sponsor is not working and doesn't have savings or doesn't have any family around. The only financial requirement for the sponsor is that they don't be on welfare while applying and can support the applicant once they arrive - Yes if you are not working then you will show proof how you are planning to support the applicant; a family can support the couple as well;

As tink23 mentioned, it taking roughly 85+ days to get SA and AOR generally a week before SA.

You shouldn't be denied for financial reasons especially if you are working two jobs.

Hope that help.
