Approved Visa Stamping

Hello,

Wanted to know if the Visitor Visa is approved when applied from India and if the person is travelling to USA. Can we still send the passport along with the approval letter to the embassy in USA to get the Visa ??

You'll have to email the office and ask them. It may be possible, but you can't just send the passport and letter to an entirely different office without permission.

sairao ... what did you do? I am in similar boat for my father's visa...can you please share?

Update from my side is that we received my father's passport today with TRV stamped on the passport. To summarize, we were able to submit the passport in the USA for TRV stamping even when the TRV was approved in India and biometrics were submitted in India, and the visa was stamped in the USA.
