Hi all,

It appears that my residency application continues to pose head-scratching questions. This is the second first that's come up for my consultant during my application thus far. Whilst an email has been sent to CIC on the matter, we agreed that trying to find a work-around in the meantime would be best as CIC can tend to be tardy with their replies. Am hoping someone may have had a similar experience.

Anyways, here goes: I employed the services of a registered immigration consultant for the Expression of Interest (EOI) ONLY. This was completed and I was into the funnel with CRS 474 earlier this month.

I received an ITA on Wednesday of this week and will be completing my PR application on my own - but my account is under my consultants APR profile.

Is there any way to transfer ownership of the account from an APR back to the individual???

Look forward to hearing form any others out there that have had a similar issue - perhaps someone was dissatisfied with their APR's performance and did the final PR application solo?

*To be clear* I was in no way disgruntled with my consultant's service. Purely chose to assess my chances at applying solo when the time came, and feel I'm in good stead to do so - so am going it solo.

You need the Username and Password for your account. In the 'Representative' section for 'Do you have a 'Representative' select 'No'?

You may have to pay the Representative their fees you agreed to pay them. If they don't give you the information, tell them to delete you from their system.

Then create an EE profile by yourself.

Only problem with this solution is that you'll lose this ITA. With 474, you'll get another ITA in Feb. Not a bad idea.
