So, after the highest scores seen lately, I decided to play a little bit with the EE calculator and turns out if I apply alone (declaring I have a wife but will not come with me to Canada) I jump from 463 to 468 +6 points if I max up my IELTS which would put me on a 471-474 range which seems to be a safe score now.

The question is, can I go for it and sponsor my wife as soon as I arrive to Canada? how does it works?

Thanks in advance,

Yes you can do it...become a PR first then sponsor her to come

It will take much longer time and more complication (explain why you leave your wife alone to CIC, fill in application again, gathering documents etc), so it is your call

Thanks for the reply, do you know how much time could it get (approx. of course) for me to do all that and reunite? at this point it's an option but I'm not sure if this will separate us for 4 months or 3 years if you know what I mean...

Thanks!
