Hi- We applied for Parents Supervisa (through IRCC Portal) on January 9th 2026. So far only Mother's medical has been cleared. Father's Medical is still pending.

Since their previous Visitor visa already expired, I am thinking to apply for Visitor Visa (using the same IRCC portal) so they can travel to Canada (due to some personal reasons).
So the portal account would show current pending Supervisa application and new visitor visa application for both parents.

Can we use the same IRCC portal (login credentials) to apply for visitor visa as well without voiding the existing pending Supervisa application?

Thanks

Yes you can apply but medical reasons may prevent your father from getting a regular TRV as well. You may want to apply for your mother only.

Yeah. That may be the case.
I wonder if I can apply for another Supervisa application on new portal and pay the new fees (while uploading the same medical). I understand that if parents' original application is stuck due to my father's medical, second one will also be stuck.
But If its some other reason, maybe the second application may get processed quickly within the regular processing time of 109 days. Just wanted to take a chance. OR am I just gonna make a mess of applications!
Thoughts anyone!!
