Applying to restaration and Grandparents super visa at the same time

I am helping my mother in law who has been living with us here in Canada for a while as temporary resident visitor. I have been applying for her the extension of stay 3 times from August 2016 (6 months each) which were approved. But the last one applied on August 2018 was refused and ordering to leave Canada immediately.

Therefore I will apply for her, for the restoration of her status but we had already plans to applied for her permanent residence in January 2019 with the new procedure under Parents and Grandparents program which we qualified.

I was told that she should apply for Parents and Grandparents super visa to get 2 years instead of 6 months and through this she can patiently wait for the PR process.

My question is if there is a way to apply for both at the same time: a) Restoration of Status b) Application for the supervisa, since I downloaded the package after having answered many questions but what I got was the package for restoration which is almost the same than the application for the extension of stay and did not find anything involving Super Visa.

I like the idea to apply for the Super Visa to have enough time to wait for the whole Permanent Resident process but not sure if it is possible to do it along with the restoration process, if someone can help me I will appreciate it.

She can apply for Restoration but her chances of approval are extremely low, as she has been living here as a visitor for years.

A supervisa does not grant status in Canada. She would have to get the supervisa, leave Canada and then re-enter in order to be granted a 2 year stay. However, given the fact that she has already been living here for years and has been refused an extension, CBSA is likely to refuse her entry regardless of the supervisa.

She should comply with the order to leave Canada. She should remain out of Canada for at least 6 months and re-establish ties to her home country before trying to return.
