Hello everybody,

if you become a non-resident of Canada in tax and provisional definitions then how this will impact your PR renewal application?
Of course, I am assuming passing the 730 days residency rule.

Hello everybody,

The PR card renewal application has a section to IRCC to pull tax information directly from CRA. If you are a non-resident for tax purposes from CRA definition, the chances of your application going to non-rountine processing is high since IRCC would want to validate that you were really present in Canada for 730 days.
Be ready to present additional proof about your presence when IRCC requests it.
