I am applying in Canada for Aviation maintenance 1 year program. Please tell me for how long i can stay in Canada after completing my course and can i renew my Temporary work permit after that or not?

Hi,

If this Aviation maintenance 1 year program is from a recognized college, then you will be eligible for a 1 year PGWP (Post Grad Work Permit).

Here's the list of ALL recognized Canadian educational institutes eligible for OCWP (Off Campus Work permit)+PGWP, listed according to province:

PGWP (Post Grad Work Permit) is an open work permit for international students passing out form recognized educational institutes a program of atleast 2 semesters/1 academic year/8 actual months of study , which will give you unrestricted access to work anywhere, any job across Canada.

Also, after 6 months of studying, you will be eligible for a OCWP which will allow you to work pert time (20 hours/week).

Then you will need to qualify under one of the various student immigration programs for international students in Canada:

But there is mentioned institutions name, not the program name. By the way my institution is mentioned there in PEI.

nice field you got here. Air Canada, West Jet are in great need of maintenance staff on their airports.

Do anybody knows about any Quebec institute who offers the aviation program and it is recognized also.

No idea but there;s a little use for applying in Quebec.

All these companies have headquaters in Ontario. Air Canada is definitely in Toronto.
